Get a FREE Google voice phone number

A few months ago we spoke about the new Google Voice service.  This unique “cyber number” offering originates from a company (previously Grand Central)  purchased by Google in Spring 2007.  Since it’s re-release as Google Voice in March 2009, service was limited to the original Grand Central subscribers – Google has now opened the service to the public at large!

If you requested an invitation on the Google Voice site previously keep your eye out for your forthcoming invite email. If you haven’t signed up for a Google Voice invite, make sure to get on the list!  Just enter your email address at www.google.com/voiceinvite .  Then once you receive your invite email, click on the included link and follow the instructions to setup your new Voice account.
