IP – Internet Protocol, has revolutionized the way people connect and communicate. It is one of very few true world wide standards! Regardless of culture, language or geography using it, IP works the same exact way. This phenomenon has forever changed how people connect and communicate around the globe.

A lifetime could be spent talking about “All Things IP”. This Blog will focus on two major IP dependent creations – VOIP (Voice / Telephone conversations Over IP) and SAAS / WEB 2.0 (Software As A Service in the WEB 2.0 age), plus other new abilities of IP.

My work with network based software applications and communications started as a developer and later, product manager for interactive online statistical analysis tools used by leading oil/gas companies in the 1970’s-80’s.

I formally entered the field of voice communications in 1998 as a pioneer adopter of VoIP technology. We became a reseller for the first commercially available IP-PBX system (VoIP). During that time I brought to market – HomeGATE, an IP enabled and voice driven internet portal wireless residential phone system. The company has evolved into the area of more general IP based network application solutions (known as Cloud Computing) with emphasis on Google Apps and related software offerings.
